Biography

My name is Nkateko Rikhotso, and I was born in a small village In December 2000. 

On the surface, I think I am I am like most young and modern woman. I have dreams and goals for the future and I am determined to make happen. And I would work hard to achieve these goals. What makes me special is perhaps my family background. I come from a very conservative and religious family who have old fashioned and set ideas about the role of women. So it was not an easy task for me to have modern goals and dreams of going to college and getting a proper education to reach success.

At first it never occurred to me that pursuing my family to let me continue my education was my first achievement, But this was my first step in the leader of success. Looking back, I've realized that this was my biggest success which would impact the lives of women in our family. I have not only paved way for my higher education but also for my younger sisters and nieces education.

I then proceeded to collect necessary funds by doing odd jobs. I believe those jobs taught new skills  such as responsibility,money management, Organization, Perseverance,and compasion for others,

That determinination I have shown up so far will only grow stronger as I grow older and more mature. I plan to make my higher education abroad and a well-rounded one that will allow me to explore both my academic and creative writing.
